The investor is responsible for investment efficiency and responsibility during the process of receiving ships into the port if an incident occurs, and does not require the Ministry of Transport to invest or upgrade public maritime infrastructure in the area. .

Currently, the Sentosa - Shikra service route operated by MSC shipping line has the route Port Klang - Singapore - Laem Chabang - Vung Tau - Busan - Los Angeles - Oakland - Busan - Qingdao - Shanghai - Ningbo - Shekou - Singapore - Colombo - Mundra – Karachi – Nhava Sheva – Colombo – Port Klang.
